French Influenced Double Barrel Pistol by Donelson

Double barrel pistols were rare, especially this early. These locks, right and left hand, were assembled from "The Rifle Shop" castings of an original French double.

Tang, rib, triggers, keys, and breech were hand-forged. Barrels both .45 cal. and tapered octagon. Mountings are brass. Engraving on breech, locks, guard, butt cap, and tang. Raised carvings on lock panels, entry pipe, and tang area.

This project is shown as an example of my work, but is not something I'm eager to duplicate at this time.
